Doctoral Writing and Research Methods
April 9-13, 2018 [Please Arrive Sunday April 8]
Petaluma, CA

Dear Doctoral Students!

The Wisdom School at Ubiquity University recognizes that students need support when tackling their doctoral proposals and dissertations. To address these needs, each year we offer the  Doctoral Writing and Research Methods  course that introduces students to tactics for planning, writing, and revising their research to produce polished, clear and highly efficient academic writing. This year the course takes place April 9-13, 2018 in Petaluma, CA.  We ask that you plan to arrive Sunday, April 8th.   Spending five days together in this focused way provides you with the opportunity for in depth discussion with both the faculty and your peers, as well as a chance to receive valuable ideas and feedback from the group. Students frequently report back to us that this is one of the most energizing and inspiring courses they have taken!

The course is mandatory for all doctoral students, and while some prefer to take it later on in their process, we encourage you to take the course in good time. In fact, some students find it extremely useful to return and take the course a second time as part of their ongoing preparation, for which only a small administrative fee of $350 is charged.

This year we are opening the class to any Masters thesis students who think they may wish to continue on to a doctoral degree at some point in their academic future at the Wisdom School.

Please note that the deadline for registration and paying for the course is February 8, 2018. For the creative dynamics of the course and the excellence of our dissertations, our class size will need to be at least 8
