Archer Centro West, Gainesville, FL - New Retail Strip Center

Scherer Construction of North Florida has begun the construction on Archer Centro West, located on Gainesville's main thoroughfare, Archer Road. The project includes two free standing retail buildings, one being a 9,000 square foot multi-tenant building with a covered patio and the other a 2,200 square foot single tenant building. This is Scherer's second retail strip center constructed for this long time customer to be located on Archer Road. All of the site improvements will be self-performed by Scherer. American Renal Associates, St. Petersburg, FL - Together Again!
|
 Scherer Construction of West Florida is honored to be once again working with long-time clients Steve and Jay Anderson for their new development project in St. Petersburg, FL. With construction beginning last December, Architect Richard Henzel worked closely with the Anderson's to ensure that the 7,775 square foot vanilla shell building would have the design appeal and specifications the future tenant, American Renal Associates, is requiring. Once the shell construction was underway, Scherer was one of several participants vying for the interior build-out. In the end, Scherer was awarded the interior contract for the new dialysis center, St. Petersburg Kidney Care South. The facility is scheduled to open fall 2014. Click here to follow the project.

Swamp Head Brewery, Gainesville, FL - Groundbreaking
|
 A Groundbreaking Ceremony was recently held in celebration of the construction of a new 13,000 square foot brewery facility for Swamp Head Brewery, which is a locally owned business in Gainesville, FL. As stated by owner, Luke Kemper, "We're looking forward to Chapter 2 of Swamp Head's story!" The new facility will allow the brewery to increase its beer production and packaged products and will also include a new tasting room called "The Wetlands" which will include a larger bar area, more taps, outside seating, and a growler filling station. Utilizing their on-staff architects, Scherer Construction of North Florida is the Design/Builder for the project and will also be self-performing the site and concrete work.
