The Bears had a tough job.

You'll notice 11 semifinalists instead of 10, as there was a tie.  The criteria for the Bears' Lair competition is: Benefit to the Local Economy, Innovative, Viablility, Entrepreneur's Overall Business Acumen & Experience, and Passion & Presentation.

Next steps:
  • March 28th, two hour semifinalist bootcamp March 28th from 1pm to 3pm.
  • April 1, one page business plan redone based onbootcamp experience, submitted by 4pm to Bears.
  • April 4th from 3pm to 5pm, the 11 semifinalists will each pitch live to the Bears.
  • April 4th at 5:30pm, the Bears will  announce the FOUR Finalists.
  • April 4th, during the Creative Cocktail, at approximately 7:30pm, the FOUR Finalists will each present a 3 min pitch to the audience, at the Peterborough Golf and Country Club, expect over 100 people that evening.
  • April 23rd, the four finalists will come to The Market Hall for their final judgement. 15min on stage!  The Bears will award ONE WINNER the over $24,000 prize package.
