Last weekend, April 14-15, the Albany Welcome Center and Pecan Peddlers hosted the Tour of Southern Rural Vistas (TOSRV). 174 riders started out on Saturday morning from Quincy, Florida and rode to Albany, GA (100 miles). Arriving between 12:30 pm and 4 pm, the riders hung out at the Welcome Center and downtown Albany. They also enjoyed dinner at the Welcome Center, provided by the Pecan City Peddlers. The riders headed back to Quincy, Fl on Sunday morning. But not all the riders had two legs. Meet Popeye, a terrier, who joined he’s owners for the second time on the ride.
