Jack Gosnell, Chair of the CAWA Board of Directors, Appoints Two Industry Veterans to the Association's Manufacturers' Advisory Council
(Sacramento, CA. - March 22, 2018)   CAWA Chair of the Board, Jack Gosnell of Next Level Parts, has appointed Ken Dowler of Idemitsu Lubricants America and Terry Satchell of Eaton Weatherhead Division to the Association's Manufacturers' Advisory Council (MAC). When Chair Gosnell announced the appointments he commented: "These new MAC members have a significant amount of auto care industry experience and will be contributors to CAWA's leadership team. The Association is pleased that these representatives will be participating at the leadership level and we anticipate that they will contribute to the future successes of CAWA". 

Mr. Ken Dowler graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara and has been in the automotive industry for 11 years, starting with Shell Oil Company selling branded lubricants such has Pennzoil, Quaker State, and Rotella into the Southern California market. After several years, he joined a multi-branded bulk distributor in Southern California as a Territory Sales Manager. In this position he successfully introduced various branded lubricants for different manufacturer types in domestic, Asian & European imports. Mr. Dowler joined Idemitsu Lubricants America 3 years ago as a Senior Account Manager in their aftermarket division. His focus has been on key national and regional distributor partners throughout North America. He is also a participating member of YANG (Young Automotive Networking Group). 

Mr. Terry Satchell is a veteran of the automotive aftermarket industry. He started in high school working for several parts stores and upon graduation from college went to work for the Gates Corporation where his career spanned thirty eight years. He then went to work for CSF Cooling as the Western Regional Sales Manager for two years and is now a Business Development Specialist for Eaton's Weatherhead Division. His job provides a liaison with the six Western NAPA distribution centers. This will be Mr. Satchell's second opportunity to be associated with CAWA leadership having served previously on the Association's MAC. He looks forward to participating in CAWA's leadership as well as helping shape the future of the Association and the industry it represents.
