We are also honored to welcome guest speakers, Assemblyman Chris Burdick and Bedford Town Councilmember Andres Castillo.

Assemblyman Chris Burdick - Assemblyman Burdick represents New York’s 93rd Assembly District. He has been a dedicated public servant championing issues that include housing, disability rights, veterans affairs, and environmental protection. His leadership has been recognized as one of the most prolific in the New York State Legislature and continues to drive positive change.

Bedford Councilmember Andres Castillo - Councilmember Castillo is a first generation Peruvian immigrant, who grew up in Northern Westchester and attended schools in the Bedford Central School District. His unique journey is an improbable one, shaped by resilience and determination. He is the first Latino and openly gay council member to serve in local government in the town of Bedford. He also works as a professional healthcare administrator. He is committed to advocating and advancing civil rights, educational equity, immigration reform, and universal access to high-quality healthcare, uplifting the whole community in which he serves.
