Silent Auction: There is still time to place your bid for the beautiful fleece blanket produced by Mary Howe. Bids will be accepted by phone through the office, or by filling out a slip and placing it in the box in the Narthex. The blanket will be on view and bids accepted through March 30th. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to St. John's.
| | Easter Floral Donations are given in loving memory of, and in grateful thanksgiving for loved ones. Please call or email the office with names of those you wish to have remembered in our Easter worship bulletins. Remembrance forms are available in the Narthex. Please print, and place in the collection plate. Suggested donation is $20. | | St. John's Thrift Boutique boasts a refreshed landscape as do the church and Parish House buildings, thanks to Josh Cole Landscaping, and Mary and Alan Carlson. Our parishioner Elaine Young turns 99 years old on (oops-date correction) April 9th. Please join us as we "shower" her with cards for this special day. You can find her address in the Parish Directory, or call the office for it.
On Sunday, April 6th we will celebrate Elaine's special day with a birthday cake during coffee hour, following the 9:30am service. Please join us!

The 2025 Bishop’s Annual Appeal
As a diocesan community, we have been asked to support the 2025 Bishop’s Annual Appeal. In this year’s Appeal, Bishop Julia Whitworth highlights three areas of our life together: Strategic Curacies, Collaborative Ministries, and Equipping Churches for Growth:
"Each of us, in this generation, is called to give to the witness of the Church in our own time, both locally in our worshipping communities and collectively in our diocese to strengthen and expand the work to which God calls us. Workshop for wardens and vestry members: offered via Zoom on Saturday, April 5, 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m. The workshop will be hosted by Canons Kelly O’Connell, Bill Parnell and Greg Perez. Participants will learn about “An Episcopal Path to Creation Justice”; discover how to spend less on buildings and free up resources for mission through the Community Purchasing Alliance; hear about equipping and empowering their congregations with Invite Welcome Connect resources; explore new and updated Safe Church resources; meet new Regional Canon Marissa Rohrbach; and get acquainted with wardens and vestry members from other churches.

Eucharistic Visitor Training is offered. Eucharistic Visitors extend the altar to include those who are homebound or in the hospital. This important pastoral and liturgical ministry is offered by adult lay members of the congregation who are certified by the diocese. In order to be certified, Eucharistic Visitors must complete Safe Church training, be nominated by their priest and attend a diocesan-approved training. Trainings are scheduled in each region of the diocese, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on: • April 26 at Grace Church in Medford; May 3 at St. David’s Church in South Yarmouth; and • May 10 at the Church of Our Redeemer in Lexington. DAILY LIVING PRACTICES TO CARE FOR CREATON
During January, February, and March we focus on the importance of water in our Caring for Creation section. Likewise, as we approach the start of Lent, we are reminded of our own baptism by water that calls us to a change of heart, to be a source of living, that is life giving water for our world and each other. May we see conservation of water as the new Lenten way of fasting for those of us who have enough. May we find ways to give clean water to those who are thirsty.
