THE REVEALER OF SECRETS

1 Corinthians 3:9-14 tells us that the Holy Spirit reveals “the deep things of God.” [verse 10.] Our natural [carnal] man cannot receive [vs. 14] or discern the things of God from the Holy Spirit because we try to understand with our soul [mind, thoughts] which is dominated by our carnal mind.

Verse 11b says [NKJV], “…so no one knows the things of [Father] God except the [Holy] Spirit of God.”

Verse 12 says, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, [so] that we might [be able to] know the things that have been freely given to us by God.”

The Holy Ghost teaches us all things pertaining to the spiritual realm. He teaches us of the things of God, our Father, but He also enables us to see the spiritual darkness from Satan. This enables us to know how to protect ourselves with the spiritual armor mentioned in Ephesians 6.

Without the Holy Spirit, who dwells in every believer, we would fall victim to Satan’s minions.

And furthermore, as we spend dedicated time in prayer and meditation, we are guided in our conversation [daily walk of life] along the path that God’s word shows us by the Holy Spirit helping us.

During our prayer and meditation [our “prayer closet”] the Holy Spirit teaches us wisdom with understanding and teaches us the secret things of God which the world cannot really understand.

I cherish Holy Spirit for He is my comforter, my Guide, and the anointing upon my head. Yes, He is my anointing. He reveals Jesus to me. He reveals Father to me. It is of His anointing that I can do all of Christ’s works on earth as Jesus said to do in John 14:12.

THE WAR WITHIN

God gave us the free will to make choices, but we are held accountable for those choices. He has given us his Word, the bible, to teach us right from wrong. As we study these precepts and principles, we learn what pleases God.

Man was created in the image of God with a spirit, soul, and body. The spirit is where we communicate with God. After the fall of Adam, all of us were born with a spirit dead towards the thing of God. When we receive Christ as our savior, our spirit is “born again” and it now is back in communication with God through the Holy Spirit.

That is where the war begins. You see, my friends, we still have our old nature, which is controlled by fleshly desires, but also a new nature that is led by the Holy Spirit. Whichever nature is in control will determine our outcome.

The new nature grows as it hears the word of God, and studies the word of God. Faith rises within our new, born-again spirit, and we grow spiritually if we continue studying the Word. On the other hand, our old nature, which has the will to choose, often usurps the leading of the Holy Spirit and sings the old song, “I did it my way.” (My way by Paul Anka and Claude Francois, sung by Frank Sinatra ©1969)

The “my way” often leads us the wrong way. The flesh always wants to be in control. The Holy Spirit nudges us to go the right way, and so the battles begin.

Like any war, the stronger and more equipped you are the more likely you win. If you continue to feed your flesh instead of feeding your spirit you can be sure there will be poor outcome. God does not force us to what is right, but like Adam’s choice to disobey God’s command, there are consequences for us, some of which can lead to physical death.

Romans 8:1 tells us, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh [ the wrong choice] but after the Spirit [the right choice.” So, how do you win the war against the flesh? You make the decision to crucify it! This is not done physically with a weapon; it is done with the decision to say no to the flesh and be determined to be controlled by the Holy Spirit.

We have been redeemed by Jesus Christ and his shed blood, but the choice to follow him and his precepts is ours. Romans 8:6 tells us this: “For to be carnally minded [walking in the fleshly lusts] is death; but to be spiritually minded [led by the Holy Spirit] is life and peace.” This is the only way to have peace with God. In other words, we must surrender our flesh to God and become prisoners of love. We choose to go His way and not our own way. Then, and only then can we please God, have peace, and the war ends.

This word was given over three years ago, but there is someone that needs to hear this again today!

PROPHETIC WORD

AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERES

I would say unto you today that you have withstood the test of the fires that I have allowed in your life. There were many times that you have wanted to quit, but you remained faithful even when it looked like all hope was gone. You felt the pain and anguish of the heat, but it was necessary for you to go through this heat to come forth as strong as steel. For many have not gone through the test, and they have fallen by the wayside. They did not yield to the testing for they fought against me saith the Lord. All that are in me will suffer many afflictions, but I will deliver those that trust me and have faith in my word to come through the test stronger than when they went into the testing. For there is an army rising up of the faithful ones that stood when others fell. There is an army rising up of faithful soldiers ready to receive their marching orders. For my children, there is a war on the horizon that will bring many into a place of fear, but you will not fear for you know that the battle belongs to me, and not you. You have seen my might when you had no might. You have seen my love when no one was there to love. You have seen my power when you felt that you were powerless. You have learned where your strength comes from and have determined to endure to the end. In this hour that is upon you now there will be a great shaking of faith, but you will come through this shaking as you trust me. Just as a soldier must go through military boot camp to learn how to use his offensive weapons, so you also have been in training for what is to come. Think not that the testing is the war. It is not the war. There is a war coming that will be fiercer than ever, yet those that have submitted to my military training through the testing and the trials will be valiant in this war. They shall rise up in my power and be used of me to bring many out of darkness and into my kingdom. Yes, there is war ahead. There will be great fear for many, but those that trust me will not walk in fear. They know the source of their strength is in me. Do not be surprised when the enemy attacks on your own land, for it will happen. It will come just as it did on that fateful day in 9/11. Many were caught off guard, but those that walked with me were prepared. So, my child, do not be surprised when this happens. Judgment must take place, but I will redeem my own from destruction. I will raise my banner up and there will be no lack of victory for those that trust me. I will be with those that trust me, but the fainthearted will fail the test. This is not the time for lack of faith. This is the time to stand firm and declare the word over yourself and over your family, for the battle shall be intense. Spend much time with me in my presence to hear your assignment for Satan will put traps before you. Do not listen to his lies or fall into his traps. The faithful ones will go forth and do great exploits, armed in my armor as champions saith the Lord.

Thursday Promise of God

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.”

I already love Psalm 91. But as I reread it over and over I began to realize this passage is His promise to us that He will protect us.

I highly recommend that you read and reread scriptures over and over. Let it sink into your spirit and heart.
