REWARDED

In Matthew 6:1-4 [Amplified version] Jesus said, “Be [very] careful not to do your good deeds publicly, to be seen by men; otherwise you will have no reward [prepared and awaiting you] with your Father who is in heaven.” When you call attention to the good you do toward others, the praise or attention you receive from people is your reward. God does not reward it because it is based in pride.

The good deeds [or alms] done from a pure heart with no fanfare are what God will reward. God not only sees [and rewards] what you do, but he also sees the heart with which you do it.

If you do things for recognition of people, their praise will be your only reward. God will count it as wood, hay, and stubble for the fire. Your reward will be in itself, and not from God.

God looks upon your heart and sees your true motive in all that you do. You may fool other people, or even yourself, but you cannot fool God because He sees you for what you are.

If you truly love God, then you will quietly do your good as unto Him alone without calling attention to it. Then, He will reward you openly.

MINISTERING SPIRITS

God has given us angels that minister on our behalf. In Hebrews 1:14 it speaks of angels, and says, “Are they [angels] not all ministering [serving] spirits, sent forth to minister for them [you and me] who shall be heirs of salvation?”

This week I had an opportunity to see my ministering spirits work for me. There is a dog in our neighborhood that has been barking all day and night. It has been continuous and hasn’t stopped. It is irritating when we try to sleep. 

As I thought about this dog, the Lord reminded me of the story of Daniel. He had been “set up” by his enemies that hated him. You could say they were like that barking dog, trying to get to Daniel and give him a hard time. Through deceit and flattery, they had King Darius sign a decree that no one could bow down or ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days other than to the king or they would be thrown into the lion’s den. These evil men knew that Daniel prayed [made petitions and bowed before Jehovah] three times a day. They knew he would not stop, and this would be their opportunity to destroy Daniel by not obeying the King’s decree and would be thrown into the lion’s den.

The king was furious when he realized what these men had caused him to do. He loved Daniel, and prayed all night while Daniel was in the lion’s den. But God had other plans for Daniel, and in Daniel 6:22 the king asked Daniel if his God was able to deliver him from the lions.  Daniel said, “My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him [God] innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.”

Daniel was saved and the king had the evil men that came up with this plan put to death.

I said to myself after thinking on this scripture, if the Lord can shut the mouths of lions with an angel [ministering spirit] he can shut the mouth of this dog. I then prayed, “In the name of Jesus, angels go forth and shut the mouth of this barking dog.”  

Almost instantly the dog stopped barking, and I haven’t heard it bark since. You see, my friends, angels are still helping God’s people! I just had not used that authority I had been given regarding “ministering spirits” soon enough.  

So, if you have needs, find the scripture that meets those needs and send your angels [ministering spirits] to work on your behalf. If it worked for Daniel, and me, it will work for you.

Someone needs to hear this today!

PROPHETIC WORD

AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERS

For I would say unto you, my child, do not be dismayed at the shaking that is going on around you and even in you. For this shaking is of me. My child have I not said that all that could be shaken will be shaken? And it shall increase exponentially. For it must happen to bring my creation to the foot of my throne in repentance. Yes, my child, I am allowing this shaking, and there will be much more. There will be shakings in the environment, in the weather, in the political realm, and more importantly, in the church. For there are many that would call me Lord, but they do not know me. For, if they knew me, they would hear my voice and follow me. Many are leading my people astray saying peace and safety when there will be no peace and safety other than that which is found in me.  

Spend time alone with me. I am jealous for your time saith the Lord. I long for those that say they love me to just get quiet and sit at my feet, letting me touch them deep in their souls. Many are weary, for they have been in many heated battles, some of which were not for them to fight. It is time to withdraw from those things that bring you weariness and just sit at my feet. Let me show you what true love is my child. Let me wrap my arms around you and wipe your tears. Let me carry you through the deep waters, and through the fires that are coming. For I am with you through the chaos, and I am with you through the fire. But these things must come to bring purity to my bride, and a cleansing of the temple.  

Oh, my child, the temples are full of vanity and pride, and they must go. The temples are full of deceit and wickedness, and they must be removed. So, as you look at the shaking, know it is for a season to bring you and my body into a pure relationship that depends only upon me. There is no greater support than that is given from the rock that you can lean on, and that rock is me, saith the Lord. Turn your ears off of the chaos and focus on the assignment that I have given you. There are so many distractions that are trying to pull you away from me. Some look very innocent, but they are a trap to keep your eyes off me, saith the Lord. Do not walk in fear. Let the faith that you have developed rise up in you for such a time as this. I have put the scepter out and all you need to do is touch it and you will receive your heart’s desires. Do not focus on things but rather focus on the creator of all things.  

There is coming an unravelling that will bring down the house of cards, which was not built on the solid rock. Oh, that my children would see with spiritual eyes and not the natural, for these things have to happen to fulfill my word that has been spoken in times past. There will be an unravelling, and there will be a curtain call, for the time of playing is all over. This is the time to be more intent on hearing my voice than ever. Do not be caught off guard. Guard your heart my child, for the traps are being set, and the time of great trouble is at hand. Stay close to me and know that as you go forward, there may be bumps and bruises, but I will see you through if you trust me, saith the Lord. Trust will be shaken in the natural, and in the spiritual realm. Be careful who you open your heart to because the heart is wicked and deceitful. Be careful of the words that you speak over yourself, for they will either bring life or death. I pray for you my child that you will not falter in the days ahead. I am waiting for you in the secret place saith the Lord.

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION

Just as Joseph, the favored son, we read of in The Bible discovered; Perhaps you too find yourself cut off and torn away from all your hopes and dreams. However, today you can look ahead and expect a miracle; Just as Joseph did way back then. Sure you can and all you have to do is; Trust God and believe that He is still on the throne and that His promises won’t ever fail you. So just hold out and hang on tightly to your hopes; And you boldly refuse to let go of your dreams. Now to you it may look down before it looks up; Oh, but you can know that He who promised it to you…Will surely bring it ALL to pass in His time. Just refuse to let go of your faith; And don’t you ever lose your trust in God.

Turn around, turn back to God! We are in trouble,

Do you know why? We have left our God,

Our Father. Turn around people! Look up and see

The Savior looking back at you and he’s not,

Smiling, he’s crying. He is saying, “You have left

Me, and Satan has moved in.” “Come back,

Come back to me!” Yes, it’s turnaround time.

Turn your life around and be made new.

Make our America new again!
