Gateway Park Phase 2 will feature Whitestown’s first public dog park, along with a shelter that includes restrooms and picnic tables. The 1.2-acre dog park will be divided into areas for small and large dogs, offering a greenspace and some play equipment. There will be a fee to use the park, with pricing set competitively in comparison to nearby communities. Phase 2 construction is set to begin in 2025.
Please note: After gathering community feedback through a Gateway Park public survey in May 2023, the top amenities requested are being added to the Phase 2 development. The new shelter with restrooms will be similar to other park shelters in town, like at Anson Acres and Main Street Park, and will be available to rent.
