Community Investment Panelists Needed

Each year, LCUW donors and community leaders come together to make vital decisions as to how best invest donors’ dollars to make the greatest impact to serve our ALICE friends and neighbors. The commitment involves 1 day (approximately eight hours) for reviewing grant requests and making funding recommendations. Individuals are always welcome to participate in more than one day if they desire. Panels will convene on April 28, 29, and 30.

Individuals interested in participating are encouraged to contact Amber Schroeder at aschroeder@lcunitedway.org.

Local Agency Spotlight

VINA Dental

Patrick came to VINA with numerous needs, living with dental pain due to a lack of insurance and limited funds. At VINA, he was able to receive the dental care he needed to smile, eat, speak, and laugh without pain.

Patrick says “Without VINA, I would be incapable of getting my teeth worked on, my teeth would be messed up and I would be in pain and miserable every single day. VINA has been one of the most positive impacts on my life.

This place is truly a lifesaver.”
