March is Food Share Month

March is Minnesota Food Share Month! The more money Kandiyohi County Food Shelf raises from March 1st through April 6th, the more it receives from Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches. Did you know that a $20 donation can purchase almost $200 in food from Second Harvest Heartland? The food shelf has seen an increase in need with the greatest demand from residents in Willmar, New London, Raymond, and Atwater. Your donations make a difference right here in Kandiyohi County.

Free Legislative Breakfast

Join us for a Legislative Breakfast hosted by the Kandiyohi County Farm Bureau Federation, Kandiyohi County Economic Development, and the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber. This free event is open to the public and offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from Senator Andrew Lang and local Representatives Dave Baker and Scott Van Binsbergen about key legislative issues impacting our community, businesses, and agriculture.
