AGvocates Getting "AG"tive

We're so thankful for the many volunteers that support our program. Throughout the last couple months, we've had a great turnout for getting AGvocates in classrooms, at ag days, and supporting teachers during teacher workshops!! Wahhooooo!

Volunteers shown here, and others are an integral part of our mission for getting "Ag in the Classroom" and educating the general public about agriculture.

Keep up the great work!

We look forward to working with you all more throughout the year. YOU can become an "AG"tive volunteer with us - email agclass1@nmflb.org to learn more!

"I volunteer because Agricultural Literacy is my passion. It is of upmost importance that people are educated as to the importance of where their food and fiber come from. Like I always say, you can't have an Ag-less Day."

American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture

Our mission is to build awareness, understanding, and a positive public perception of agriculture through education. We do so by developing and distributing educational resources, curriculum materials, and programs that promote a better understanding of agriculture's importance and its role in daily life. Through partnerships and initiatives, we work to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers, fostering a greater appreciation for the food, fiber and fuel produced by American farmer and ranchers.
