Invited Rockin' Fights standouts include Forrmer World Champ Joe Smith Jr (100% KO Ratio), Former World Champ Chris Algieri (Started It All), Cletus Seldin (Most total wins at Paramount and tied for most Rockin' Fights appearances), Danny Gonzalez, Wendy Toussaint and Suffolk Police Officer Alex Vargas (all were undefeated in theri double-digit Rockin' Fights appearances), Anthony Karperis (Tied for number one spot in total Rockin' Fights appearances), and so many more will be in attendance this Saturday. Also returning to sing the National Anthem, the America’s Tenor, the Presidential Tenor…Christopher Macchio.
Headlining Rockin' Fights 50, world ranked super-middleweight Junior Younan, (21-0-1, 13 KOs), of Brooklyn, NY who will face battle-tested contender Abel Mina, (18-3-1, 9 KOs), of Quito, Ecuador in a bout where Younan will be defending his WBA CA Gold Championship belt.
Undefeated and fast-rising junior middleweight prospect Micky Scala, (11-0, 6 KOs), of Mesa, AZ returns to The Paramount NY against Mario Zabojnik, (12-1-0, 6 KOs), of Slovakia.
Also featured at Rockin’ Fights 50 in an eight-round super lightweight clash of exciting fighters, Yan Carlos Perez, (4-0, 2 KOs), of Guaricano, Dominican Republic, faces Yeuri ‘Dinamita’ Andujar (7-6-1, 4 KOs), of Bronx, New York. Fighting at The Paramount NY on Rockin’ Fights 48, Perez defeated Ronny Reyes over six rounds in a unanimous decision victory. He has another tough local this time in Andujar. Currently riding a two-fight winning streak, Andujar knocked out Christian Otero in the fourth round on December 16, 2023 in New York City, following up with a six-round decision over Ronny Reyes at The Paramount on May 11, 2024.
Fighting in a four round welterweight bout, fan favorite ‘King’ David Malul, (2-0, 2 KOs), of Queens, NY battles Shaquille Rushing, (0-1), of Lakeside, FL. The hard-hitting Malul has quickly impressed fans at The Paramount NY with his knockout power, with back-to-back vicious KO's.
In a highly anticipated battle of undefeated junior lightweights, ‘G.I.’ Joe Elzey, (3-0, 1 KOs), of
Bronx, NY faces 18-year-old Jordy Suarez Gonzalez, (1-0, 1 KO), of Nashville, TN in a bout
scheduled for four rounds. Elzey returns to action following a four round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Erick Perez at The Paramount NY.
Rounding out the card in an eight-round super middleweight clash, Issah Flaherty, (7-0, 3 KOs), of Elmont, NY faces Jakob Turac, (3-2, 3 KOs), of Rakovnik, Czech Republic. Flaherty kicks off his 2025 campaign after a six-round shutout unanimous decision win over Julien Baptiste at Madison Square Garden.
