Good afternoon, TNS Families!
We apologize for any disruptions with the Child Pilot app, which has been intermittently crashing over the past two days. While it briefly resumed working last night, it has remained unpredictable today. Until the issue is fully resolved, we will use email for all important announcements. You are welcome to continue attempting to use the app, but for any time-sensitive matters, please rely on email communication.
Regarding tomorrow’s opening status, today’s additional snowfall has resulted in further accumulation on many secondary roads and subdivisions, which remain untreated and unsafe for travel, especially for those who need to travel a distance to reach the school. As always, we do our best to remain open for our families based on the most up-to-date information available. However, current forecasts indicate that temperatures will not rise above freezing until close to noon. Given the slow warm-up, continued uncertainty about road conditions, and our priority of ensuring safe travel for both staff and families, we will remain closed tomorrow.
However, to help make up for some of the missed time, I'm happy to share that we are extending March 7th from an Early Release day to a full school day. This day also coincides with our International Day celebration, so stay tuned for more details on your classroom’s plans!
