Student Government Association (SGA) Meeting

Tuesday, February 25 • 3-4pm

The SGA is the official student governing body at the College, dedicated to connecting students, addressing their concerns, and supporting clubs and events. It amplifies student voices, influences campus affairs, and provides opportunities to develop leadership skills. Get involved to help enhance the college experience for all students.


SGA members are eligible to attend the Student Leadership Conference for FREE, receive a cool FREE polo with the SGA logo, and connect with some fun and like-minded students on campus.

Submit your SGA application and THREE references to SGA@wvncc.edu by April 4th at 5pm. Elections will run the week of April 21st.

Little Chefs Cooking Class

with Christian Kefauver

Sunday, March 1 • 12-3pm


Learn to make a simple delicious meal and accompaniments in our WVNCC Culinary Department Kitchen. "Little Chefs" will learn to make a delicious dinner along with bread and dessert with their adult. They will get to enjoy their hard work afterwards by eating with they made. This class is perfect for 8 years old to 15 years old. You should wear comfortable clothes and have your hair pulled back. Aprons will be provided.

Yoga for Beginners

with Amanda Sage

Sunday, March 2 • 5:30 pm


This class is designed for the individual who is completely new to the practice of yoga. Participants will learn the foundations of yoga technique, and apply the principals of yoga to calm the mind and strengthen the body. Class participants should be prepared with a yoga mat, small towel, and plenty of water.
