SUCCESSFULLY NAVIGATING COLLEGE ADMISSIONS IN 2025 (VIRTUAL)

March 11 at 7 pm

For juniors, sophomores and freshmen, and their parents.

We'll discuss current admissions trends, the changing test environment, college visits and action steps that can be taken to make the remainder of the school year productive and less stressful. Presented by Stand Out For College LLC.

HOW TO APPEAL TO COLLEGES FOR FINANCIAL AID (VIRTUAL)

March 18 at 7 pm

More than ever, colleges are more willing to say “yes” to appeals for more financial aid and scholarship money for both new and returning students. This workshop provides detailed guidance for families on how to appeal to colleges for more financial aid and how to improve the likelihood of a successful appeal. TEENS & TWEENS CHESS GROUP

March 5 and 19 / 5 pm at Hilton Branch

Open to all skill levels. Use one of our chess sets, or bring your own.

Registration is not required, but is encouraged.

March 8 at 11 am / For ages 4 and up

Listen to stories in Spanish (and English) presented by Yohana Osorio, local resident and native Spanish speaker. 

And make a craft!

For new and experienced families

COMIC CLUB Mar. 12 at 3:30 pm

Draw, write, and create your own stories or use our prompts.

Comic Club is an informal, self-directed creative writing program for kids ages 5-12 .(Caregiver must remain in building).

Bring what you have been working on or use provided supplies.

LEGO CLUB Mar. 14 at 3:30 pm / For ages 5 and up with a participating adult.

Join us for an hour of imagination! Lego creations will be displayed in the library.

FAMILY GAME NIGHT Mar. 17 at 6 pm

Enjoy some oversized (and regular-sized) games with family and friends!
