Greetings Rondout Families, Friends, and Faculty...
Happy New Year! Hope you enjoyed the break and are recharged for the year ahead.
We had a fantastic first week back after the break, with students fully engaged in their learning and happy to reconnect with one another and the faculty. By the end of the week, we welcomed back almost all our students from their winter break vacations.
Don’t forget to RSVP for the Rondout Spaghetti Dinner Night on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 6 p.m. It promises to be a “delicious” evening filled with good food and fun family entertainment.
Additionally, Taste of Greece, an in-school cultural celebration, is coming up the week of February 24th, featuring a variety of activities that will immerse our students in the culture and history of Greece. We would greatly appreciate volunteers to help with the planning and execution of these activities. Please check the sign-up link below if you’d like to get involved. We will also hold a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, January 22nd, at 6 p.m. for interested volunteers. We welcome family members and friends of Rondout to join us in making this a fun and informative experience. If you are interested but cannot make it to the meeting, please reach out to me via email @ jenny.wojcik@rondoutsd72.org.
Our Green Space Committee for parents, faculty and friends of Rondout will kick off during the first week of February with some fun activities to begin to “Think Spring” and “Go Green”. Sign up in the Go Green Box below if you would like to join in supporting our green initiatives including the various areas on our grounds. We will be finalizing a date and time with those who are interested in joining this work and/or learning more about our green spaces.
