AC4C Youth
Substance Use Prevention
Day on the Hill
Thursday, February 13
AC4C will be hosting the Day on the Hill for Youth Substance Use Prevention. The AC4C Day on the Hill Toolkit can be accessed HERE that includes sample youth permission slips, press releases and most of the other details.
We will be having the youth training and lunch at the Iowa State Historical Building and then walking a short ways to the Capitol. The lunch will be the same as last year in the Historical Building, catered by Baratta's (an Italian restaurant). We'll have bowtie pasta with Alfredo sauce, tossed romaine salad with ranch and croutons on the side, bread sticks, and bakery chocolate chip cookies for $11 per person. There is a gluten free option of Penne pasta with white sauce. We have refillable AC4C Youth water bottles for the students again.
A check can be for the lunches for your group to AC4C and we can provide an invoice if needed. Groups and individuals can also pay using the AC4C Venmo ahead. Please let Jennifer know if you need the AC4C Venmo information or the address to send the check to after you register.
