Seeds of Revolution on the Thames and Beyond
Lyman Allyn Art Museum, New London
Thames River Heritage Park, New London County Historical Society and Lyman Allyn Art Museum are pleased to present the 2025 Lecture Series: “Seeds of Revolution on the Thames and Beyond.”
Hosted at the Lyman Allyn, lectures will explore events that seeded discontent and sparked the American Revolution and influenced the history of the region. The 5-part series will occur once a month through May 2025.
Lecture Schedule
January 29th: Mariners, Patriotism and Revolution with Steve Manuel
February 12th: Geology, Decrees and Deposits with James King
March 12th: Equal, Enslaved and Marginalized with Tom Schuch
April 23rd: Religious Ideals, Realities and Sermons with Dr. Tricia Peone
May 14th: Unrest, Rebellion and Protection with Richard Rogers
