If your trucks cross state lines....

Companies need to have the 2025 IFTA stickers (blue) on your truck as the grace

period for running on 2024 (red) stickers has ended. Keep in mind that your fuel taxes

through 4th quarter 2024 need to be on file in order to receive 2025 IFTAs. If you will not

be running out of state, or if you plan on shutting down your business, please contact a

fuel tax representative to ensure everything is filed correctly. Otherwise, you will be

responsible for tax liabilities from the state – even after your business is closed.

FUEL TAXES - ARKANSAS

If Arkansas is on your IRP tag and you received an annual carrier report from them,

the report will need to be filed. Our fee to file is $80. We need your fuel tax information and payment by April 15th to guarantee that your fuel taxes are filed with no late fees. If fuel taxes are filed after April 30th, the state will charge a $50 late penalty or 10% of

what is owed, whichever amount is greater. Keep in mind that an additional 1% of your total owed is applied to every month your fuel taxes are late! You may send your information via fax, email, or mail. When sending your fuel tax information through fax or email, please call us to be sure we did receive it.

MCS-150 UPDATE

In accordance with FMCSA MCS-150 regulation 49 CFR Part §390.19, every two years

all motor carriers are required to update their MCS-150 information with the FMCSA. This

update must be completed in the appropriate month, every even or odd year, based on

your DOT#, even if none of your information has changed, and regardless of when you

last updated.

Failure to complete a biennial update in your assigned month may cause deactivation of

your USDOT number and could result in civil penalties of up to $1,000 per day (not to

exceed $10,000).

If your DOT number ends with the number 4, your MCS-150 may need to be updated. If

the number before the 4 is an odd number, you must renew by the end of April this year.

If the 4 is preceded by an even number, you are not due for an update until April of next

year.
