This safe space supports women and gender-diverse domestic abuse survivors with workshops, social activities, and tools to heal, grow, and prevent further violence.

Come to the Women’s Drop-In Lounge on January 22, 2024 for a free and compassionate workshop on body appreciation.

Take steps toward accepting the body you’re in. This event will include conversation and a craft.

“The Body Knows: Exploring Emotion and Where It Lives” is the theme of our free January 29th Women's Drop-In Lounge event.

You'll learn how to approach body-based work after trauma through somatic approaches to care, with guidance and support in a safe, nurturing environment.

Join us on February 5 at 2 p.m. at the NYWC Drop-In Women's Lounge as we celebrate Black History Month at an empowering tea-time event!

This intimate gathering will spark meaningful conversations about race, the impact of gender-based violence on Black women, and honouring and uplifting the inspiring Black women in our lives.
