Auditions Timeline:
Early April: Auditions will open for submissions.
Audition submissions will be done via Submittable: this is the same website that we used for strings principal chair auditions, winds/brass chair auditions, and mid-season auditions. You will be able to use the same accounts you made to do those!
Notable changes from previous season's auditions:
- There is no fee to audition
- All ensembles will play short excerpt(s) as part of their audition, in addition to scales and a solo.
June 1st: Auditions will close for submissions. All auditions must be in by June 1st to be given consideration. Late auditions will not be accepted.
June: Auditions will be listened to and students will be placed in ensembles. No action is needed on your part, but be sure to get auditions in by June 1st!
Late June/Early July: Acceptance notifications will be sent via email. We will ask for you to finish registration and pay a deposit to accept your spot in the ensemble you are placed in.
Early September: the 2025-26 season starts! This is typically the week after labor day. We will continue to have a November and March concert for Youth Philharmonic.
