Spring Cleaning Supply Drive

Remember all the cleaning supplies you needed when moving into your first apartment or home? These supplies are expensive, and we want to help provide them for new residents who have experienced homelessness and are moving into housing at Plymouth Housing and YouthCare.

You can help these folks make a fresh start by dropping off basic cleaning supplies, such as all-purpose cleaners, disinfectant spray, paper towels, broom/dustpan sets, etc. – anything you needed when you first moved into your first apartment. Collection will take place in the Partnerships room and in the bins outside the main front doors of the church. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of our neighbors. Many thanks!

Exploring Unsung Voices of American Theology

Begins Sunday, April 27th, 9:30am in the A-B Classroom

Throughout this four-week class we will dive into the lives and writings of four theologians and pastors of American history: Zilpha Elaw, Howard Thurman, James Cone and Emilie Townes. Come and learn about their experiences and their lasting imprint on American spirituality! Class is led by Zechariah Knepper.

New Church Directory!

We need updated pics of our church family! Please send in a recent pic of your family to marlab@mipc.orgThese can be casual but preferably without sunglasses. Or have your pic taken after worship services on Sunday, May 4. Also, if you have any change in your contact info, please include that with the photo. Thanks!

Crop Table - plan(t) accordingly!

When you're planting your gardens this year, consider putting in a little extra for our Crop Table! This summer, we'll bring in our surplus flowers, fruits, and vegetables, which others will take home. Free-will donations benefit those who are food insecure.

Expressions of Faith - June 2025

Expressions of Faith is a four-week workshop featuring hands-on activities to deepen children’s connection to their faith. Children will create and decorate outdoor art that will come together as a Kindness Rock Garden near the path leading to the MIPC Remembrance Garden. By painting and designing this display, we hope to provide a visual reminder of love, kindness, and faith for those walking this path. Ages: Pre-K - 5th grade.

Old Friends Club

MIPC has launched a new program called Old Friends Club that fits within our mission to live out our faith by serving the most vulnerable populations in our community. Old Friends Club is a community-based social respite program that is a place of friendship and belonging for those living with dementia. It also provides much-needed respite, education, resources, and support for their caregivers.

This program transforms what it means to live with dementia, promoting resiliency and a fuller, more joyful life through conversation, music, art, games, exercise, and a meal.

To learn more or talk about participating in the effort, please reach out to Tanya Su, the director of the program at ofc@mipc.org.
