"Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

As you step into this new month, take a moment to pause, breathe, and remember (or set) your intention—any heartfelt reminder of your determination. Life is ever-changing, a beautiful and sometimes chaotic ebb and flow. Yoga is here for you to navigate it all.

Your intention might be to show up or to slow down, to stay consistent or to try something new. The key is to find balance amid the busy-ness or the monotony. Acknowledge that feelings (and all things) are temporary. Let mindful breathing be your anchor, helping you stay centered and stable through life’s emotional fluctuations.

This month at Bluebird Sky Yoga, we’re embracing the idea that yoga is designed for times of change. Whether you join us for a Song Bath, Community Meditation, or your favorite weekly class, let these moments on the mat remind you of the stability and presence within. And just as important, remember the power of community—staying connected to others committed to staying grounded, cultivating positivity, and channeling energy into purposeful action or acts of service.

Your power comes from within—find small, steady steps that bring balance to your life. The mat is here for you. The community is here for you. We are here for you!

With gratitude and light,

Community Connects: Meet Savannah

Savannah is a dedicated and enthusiastic member of our community at Bluebird Sky Yoga. At the time of writing, she’s taken nearly 200 classes in 12 months and is a familiar face in our studio, always eager to try new classes and deepen her practice.

After moving to the area, Savannah was searching for a space that felt right—somewhere to practice, grow, and be part of a community that values both movement and mindfulness. Since starting yoga, she’s noticed a deeper connection between her mind, body, and soul, helping her stay present and grounded in ways that extend beyond the mat. No matter what’s happening in her life, yoga remains a constant source of alignment and balance.

For Savannah, practice is both a personal anchor and a place of discovery. During stressful times, yoga gives her space to breathe and reset, while in joyful moments, it helps her slow down and fully take them in. She loves the variety of classes and teachers at Bluebird Sky Yoga, each offering something unique that keeps her engaged and growing. "I honestly can’t pick just one favorite!" she shares. Yoga continues to meet her exactly where she is, and she’s grateful to have found a supportive community to share the journey with.

💙 Gratitude to Primrose!

Our first Sunday Ritual kicked off on February 2nd in their beautiful space. Huge thanks to Primrose for hosting us and creating a space for connection, movement, and community!
