Buttered and Blessed Muffins

February 16 after the 9AM Service

Saint Mark's Staff Parish Relations Committee will be providing muffins, coffee, and tea after the 9AM Service on February 16, 2025 in Wade Hall. Everyone is invited to stop by and spend as much time in fellowship as they desire.

Thank you, Robert!

The Saint Mark staff wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Robert Gilleo for his services to the congregation this fall and winter. Robert truly has a servant's heart and his willingness to serve (once again) in an interim capacity as office administrator (i.e., chaos manager) was a gift that stood out during a season of gift-giving. Saint Mark is incredibly blessed to count Robert as a part of our fellowship! Thank you, Robert!

An Invitation to Social Action

Saint Mark, on Wednesday, February 12, from 9am to 2pm all North Georgia United Methodists are invited to participate in an Advocacy Day at the Georgia Capitol organized by Georgians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty.

This event aims to bring attention to an issue before Georgia State Legislators – ending the death penalty for individuals with intellectual disabilities. It will offer participants the opportunity to engage with lawmakers on this matter.

Bishop Robin Dease will serve as Chaplin in the State Senate that day. This work is close to the heart of United Methodists, as our Social Principles call on United Methodists to oppose the death penalty. Additionally, the 2016 North Georgia Annual Conference passed a Resolution Advocating to the End the Death Penalty.

We will gather at Trinity UMC at 8am on February 12th.
