Coffee Hour and Easter Egg Hunt after worship
Celebrate the resurrection with joyful worship that includes music, scripture, prayer, and reflection. The service will stream live to facebook, YouTube, and our website homepage, where you can also download the bulletin.
Sunday Mornings for Children
Children are always welcome in worship, either in the pews or at the Prayground at the front of the sanctuary. We also have Sunday school for elementary-aged children downstairs in the Purple Room most Sundays during worship.

After worship stay for Coffee Hour and an Easter Egg Hunt! Bring your own basket, or we'll have some bags to share. Weather permitting, we'll have Coffee Hour and the egg hunt outside, but if it rains we'll bring the fun inside and have the egg hunt in the upstairs Social Hall.

THIS EVENING - Good Friday Service

Join us for “The Way of the Cross: A Journey of Justice,” a reflective service that weaves the ancient story of Jesus’ final hours with the ongoing struggles for justice in our world today. Through scripture, music, prayer, and powerful reflections, we will walk with Jesus and stand in solidarity with those who suffer.

FCC Branding & Marketing Project - Additional Sessions
April 24 (6 PM Zoom)
April 27 (after abbreviated 10 AM worship service)
The FCC Marketing Task Force will be holding two additional presentation and discussion sessions on Thursday April 24th (6:00 p.m. over Zoom - details below) and Sunday April 27th (after an abbreviated worship service). In these sessions we will share some of the content reviewed in our March 23rd session but also some additional content to help demonstrate the proposed brand expression. The goal is to provide further context on the proposed name change to ensure everyone has a broader perspective on not only the name, but the ways in which we intend to present our church and community. The Task Force remains enthusiastic about the possibilities ahead for our church. Please join one or both sessions to learn more!

Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
FCC Annual Fundraiser
Saturday May 3, 6:00 PM
This year's annual fundraiser is sure to be a blast - So please join us for Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, hosted by our very own James Mellish! Enjoy light snacks and desserts provided, along with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks as well. The evening will also include silent and live auctions with some great items to bid on.
Nearly half of all proceeds raised come from underwriting sponsors. Please consider providing a positive boost to our church’s day-to-day operations and ministries. Any level of support is very appreciated! Sponsors will be recognized the evening of the event.

Star Wars Concert
Sunday May 4, 1:30 PM
Join us for a celebration on May the 4th (Star Wars Day)! Minister of Music, Tim Clark, will conduct an orchestra of 50 musicians performing music from "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" and "STAR WARS." The concert will begin at 1:30 PM and last approximately 45 minutes. The concert is free and open to the public, and there will be a freewill offering to help fund future concerts. This celebration is in conjunction with the reception of The Red Gate’s “Young Hearts, Run Free” exhibit.

Women of Wydown Lunch

All women are invited to join the Women of Wydown, a monthly gathering for fellowship and connection. Gatherings are after worship (about 11:30 AM), with a church member graciously hosting in their home or other venue of their choice. SHED is hosting a housing fair and seminar for new and existing homeowners on April 26 at Refresh Community Church (829 North Hanley Rd.). The event is free and lunch is included. This gathering is more than a meeting—it's a celebration of faith, community, and the Spirit's call to action. Together, we'll explore this year's theme Into the Deep, engage in meaningful worship, connect with fellow UCC members from across the nation, and deliberate on the critical issues shaping our denomination and our world.
