Principal's Letter
Hello Grant Families,
February is here, and with it comes exciting events and important reminders for our school community!
Kindness Week – February 7-11
We are celebrating Kindness Week starting February 7th! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to practice compassion, generosity, and respect. Throughout the week, our counselling team will have special activities focused on spreading kindness, including theme days and classroom projects. We encourage families to join in by discussing ways to show kindness at home and in the community.
100th Day!
Grant will be celebrating the 100th day of school on February 7th! Some classrooms will have special activities to celebrate our 100th day of learning! Look for more information from your student's teacher about what the 100th day will look like in their classroom.
Bundle Up!
Winter is still in full swing, and temperatures continue to be chilly. Please make sure your child comes to school dressed in warm clothing, including jackets, hats, and gloves. We want all students to stay comfortable and healthy while playing outside and traveling to and from school.
Have a great weekend!
Love,
Mrs. Searcy
Principal, Grant Elementary
