Legal Help is Available for El Sol families, students, and alumni concerning President Elect Trump’s Proposed Executive Order on Immigration.

We know that El Sol families, students and alumni have many concerns and questions concerning the likely impact of President Trump’s Executive Order, particularly with respect to deportation of immigrants, efforts to restrict DACA, and reduction in existing federal health support programs (e.g. Medicaid) etc.   

El Sol, working with Marshall Kaplan, Advisor to El Sol has created the El Sol Volunteer Lawyer Team ( The Team).  The group includes several respected lawyers who are experts in immigration laws and regulations. They are committed to providing el sol families, students and alumni with confidential advice, and assistance to ensure the protection of family and individual rights.

If you have questions and want to seek assistance concerning the anticipated January Executive Order on Immigration, please call Marshall Kaplan, at 949-689-5003 or email him at MKaplan@Pathopps.org. Marshall will discuss your question and concerns with you and, if you need legal assistance, help you make an appointment with an expert member of the El Sol Legal Team.

Drop off and Pick up Instructions

Drive Slowly while traveling on Halesworth.

Valet Dashboard Name Tag

• Please write your 1) child’s first name, 2) last name, 3) teacher and 4) grade
• Place the paper in your car dashboard during pick up. This will help our staff know who you are picking up.

Siblings pick up

• Please pick up when the last sibling gets out of school so you don’t block the valet line. If you arrive early, you will be asked to come back until your child is out. 
• If you have children on both sides - Pick up on the elementary side and have your child in the middle school cross the street to meet the youngest sibling in the elementary side. The child in the middle school side will need a walking pass located in our parent portal (powerschool). 
• Follow the valet route as outlined on the attached map

Do not park or leave your car in the valet line during drop off and pick up times

Do not allow your child to exit from the street side of the car

Follow the direction of the staff who are outside on the valet and most of all be respectful and patient

Be respectful of other drivers, everyone is in a hurry

Avoid frustration by leaving a little earlier and giving yourself time

Follow all traffic and parking signs
