Author Talk and Book Signing

Alana Yazzie, known as The Fancy Navajo, is a lifestyle and food blogger and cookbook author who celebrates her Navajo heritage through contemporary cuisine and culture. In 2014, she launched her blog, The Fancy Navajo, to share recipes, fashion, and gardening tips infused with Navajo traditions.


Alana will be visiting the library to talk about her new book The Modern Navajo Kitchen. Join us for this amazing opportunity to expand your cultural knowledge on Navajo cuisine.



Don't miss the cooking demonstration, following the book talk. Amy's Bookcase will be on hand to sell copies of her cookbook for purchase.

Senior Fraud Awareness Presentation with New Mexico Aging & Long Term Services Department

Get the tools to avoid the fools. Join us for a presentation by the New Mexico Aging & Long Term Services Department that will help you spot the latest scams.


Topics will include: types of frauds targeting seniors, warning signs of fraud, protecting your personal data, things to do if you suspect fraud, how to report fraud, and more.
