 This event will be held in Centerville Public Library's Community Rooms.

This Earth Day event is sponsored by the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Advocacy Resource Team (SMART), League of Women Voters of the Cape Cod Area (LWVCCA), and Faith Communities Environmental Network (FCEN).

Keep Barnstable Beautiful

Spring Cleanup

SATURDAY, APRIL 26 | 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

at WEST VILLAGES ELEMENTARY


Come join Keep Barnstable Beautiful (KBB), a local chapter of Keep Massachusetts Beautiful, along with your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors to give the Town of Barnstable a thorough Spring cleaning!


This cleanup offers volunteers the opportunity to get some fresh air while cleaning up the litter that has accumulated in Marstons Mills and Cotuit over the winter.

This cleanup will take place at the West Villages Elementary School

760 W Barnstable Rd, Marstons Mills, MA 02648


Volunteers should report to the arking lot to the left to pick up trash grabbers, gloves, safety vests, and bags before traveling to assigned cleanup areas.

Read to Therapy Dogs

with Companion Animal Program (CAP)

APRIL 22 | 11:00 A.M. | IN-PERSON


Drop in and visit with some amazing dogs.

Read a book, meet their owners, get some snugs & kisses, and lift your spirits.


Dogs will be in the kids’ room and ready to mingle!

All ages are welcome.

4-H Babysitting Course

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23 | 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.


Become a responsible babysitter!


Curriculum covers:

Child safety • First aid & emergencies

Feeding & nutrition • Stages of child development

Creative ways to entertain • Business of babysitting

 • ...and more!

Class size is limited to 15. Pre-registration is required.

Must be 11 years old to participate.


The course is taught by a 4-H Program Associate. $15 per participant for materials.
