Enjoy Programs from Last Week

Were you tuned in last night at 9:00 pm for Words & Music with Will Duchon? If so, you enjoyed "The Music Swims Back to Me." This week's show focused on the lifetime of memories that can be evoked by the combination of certain poems and songs.

If you missed it, we keep a rolling two weeks of WMNR programs on Archived Audio. When you've missed a favorite program, or just aren't keen on what's on air at the moment, visit the LISTEN page of our website to chose a five-hour block from the prior two weeks.

On Air: Rich Moran

Thank you Rich for the time and talent you give to WMNR as a volunteer broadcaster!

Volunteer broadcaster Rich Moran marks ten years at WMNR in 2025! Rich hosts One Great Song, Saturdays at 6:00 pm. He creates new programs featuring one outstanding song, singer, or songwriter and alternates them with evergreen programs from the late Jay Harris's archive of programs. Tonight, "It Might as Well Be Spring" (1945) and then at 9:00 pm, Rich sits in for H. William Stine as the guest host of Turntable For One.

Rich began his relationship with WMNR as a fan and regular listener of Will Duchon’s The Night Café program (jazz vocals, Fridays at 10:00 pm). Eventually, he contributed recordings that Will used on air. Then, starting in 2010, Rich began serving as an occasional guest host of the program. Read on...
