Children aged 4 - 12 will dive into a week filled with creativity, adventure, and fun activities that spark excitement and build friendships.
We will take advantage of whatever the winter weather provides for us - we will skate, sled, build snow forts and structures, get outside and play - crafts, games, melty beads (of course!), and most of all, have fun and engaging days.

Dabbling in the Arts - Creative Camp
Dabble in Art, Shine in Creativity!
(10 to 13 yrs old)
Week 7: Aug 5 - 8, 2025 (4 days)
Campers of all skill levels will drive into a world of artistic exploration, culinary arts and textiles. It will be a week of discovering new techniques, mediums and ways to express their unique ideas.
Perfect for budding artists and creative minds, this camp offers a fun and supportive space to try new things, build skills and unleash their imagination.

Trailblazers Activity Camp
Paddle, Pedal and Push Your Limits!
(10 to 13 yrs old)
Weeks 3 & 5: July 7 - 11, 2025 & July 21 - 25, 2025
Join us and experience the thrill of outdoor adventure on both water and land. This camp is designed for active, adventurous kids who love exploring the great outdoors, building skills and taking on new challenges.
With a mix of canoeing, biking and team activities, campers will gain confidence, learn valuable skills, and create unforgettable memories.

Old Ottawa East Community Association (OOECA) March Meeting | |

The March 2025 OOECA Meeting will take place on Tuesday March 11 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The meeting will take place both in person at Old Town Hall (61 Main Street) and online via Zoom. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Old Ottawa East Hosers WIN the 2025 Capital Ward Cup! | |
|
The Old Ottawa East Hosers successfully defended the Capital Ward Cup on Feb 8, 2025 at Mutchmor Rink! It was a fantastic shinny tournament between the four teams of: the OOE Hosers, Old Ottawa South Moose, Heron Park and the Glebe Warriors.
This marks the third consecutive year that the OOE Hosers have won the Cup. Congratulations to team captain Andrew, and team members Ian, Brad, Kenzie, Mark, Louis, Ross and Maya!

While it's still wintry outside, Old Ottawa East residents can enjoy the groomed Rideau Winter Trail, located across the Rideau River!
With support from the City of Ottawa, the National Capital Commission, the Government of Canada, as well as a growing number of sponsors and community supports, the Rideau Winter Trail provides barrier-free winter sports along the Rideau River.
This community-led, volunteer-based initiative provides a winter trail for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, walking and snow biking. For a map of the trail click here.
