The ACMS Foundation recently hosted a networking breakfast for our 2024-2025 grant recipients, creating an opportunity for collaboration, idea-sharing, and meaningful discussions. We are proud to support organizations making a difference in Allegheny County and extend our gratitude to Babb, Inc. for generously hosting us in their historic ballroom.

This year, the ACMS Foundation awarded nearly $260,000 to 29 local nonprofits, furthering our commitment to advancing community health.

Congress funding package excludes physician payment relief – take action now!

House leadership has released a government funding proposal that fails to include Medicare physician payment relief, locking in a fifth consecutive year of devastating cuts. Without action, 66 million Medicare patients could face reduced access to care.

The time is now – please contact your members of Congress today and urge them to ask leadership to include language from H.R. 879 that would address the Medicare physician payment cut before they vote on the legislation this week!

Women in Healthcare Event Recap

The ACMS Women in Healthcare Committee recently hosted a sold-out skincare event, bringing together healthcare professionals for an evening of education, networking, and self-care. Attendees gained expert skincare insights from dermatologists Dr. Nicole Velez and Dr. Charles Mount, while enjoying an amazing dinner and camaraderie.
