YOUR LINK TO EVERYTHING BORGIA!

Consider this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

SOWING SEEDS OF GENEROSITY:

THE BLESSINGS OF GIVING BACK

At St. Francis Borgia High School, we are reminded that generosity is not just about giving—it’s about giving with joy and purpose. As St. Paul tells us, those who give freely and abundantly will also experience the blessings of their generosity.

Whether through mentorship, volunteerism, or financial support, each gift to Borgia helps strengthen our community and invest in the future of our students. Your contributions ensure that faith, excellence, and service remain at the heart of everything we do.

As we move forward in 2025, let us embrace this call to give joyfully, stay connected, and uplift one another. Thank you for being part of the Borgia family—your generosity makes a lasting impact!

A LETTER FROM OUR PRINCIPAL

Borgia Family,

February often kicks off interview season for a school administrator. We've been blessed with extremely loyal adults who serve our school community with dedication and passion. As with any profession, though, we occasionally have the chance to interview candidates to fill open or new teaching, staff, or coaching positions.

Recently, we met with several candidates for a position. One candidate asked what made Borgia special, and we couldn't help but go on and on about why Borgia is the school we hold so dear. When you're here, you just feel it. It's the faith, the people, the support, the high expectations, the family…

While I don't know if I'll ever get over the feeling that I'm going on a very important blind date every time I walk into an interview with a potential teammate, I sit down knowing that there are people out there whom God made for Borgia and who will fall in love with this place and these people just like so many of us have.

Here's praying that everyone seeking a job finds the perfect fit! St. Francis Borgia and St. Cajetan, patron saint of job seekers, pray for us!

Sincerely,

Pam (Ruether) Tholen '02
