Ozzie’s story is one of resilience and love. After living on the streets for over a year and enduring severe skin infections, painful disease, “elephant skin,” and untreated ear conditions, this sweet Westie found hope when a Good Samaritan and Rico Pet Recovery stepped in. Now, with ongoing treatments and incredible support from the rescue community and WestieMed, Ozzie is thriving, enjoying soft blankets, snuggles, and the affection he always deserved, proving that a little love and care can transform even the most difficult circumstances. Charlie’s story is truly heartwarming! After a lifetime in one home, Charlie faced an uncertain future when he was dropped off at a shelter in Easton, CT, in August 2024. Thanks to the compassionate efforts of Westie Rescue of New England and his foster moms, Darlene and Hester, Charlie received the medical care, love, and attention he needed to thrive. Now, at 11 years old, Charlie is living his best life with his forever family, including his playful Westie sister, Agnes, enjoying travel, love, and a bright, happy future!. | |
