🖼️ Gabriel Dubiel Wins Scholastic National Gold Medal & Showcases Art Internationally! 🌟

Congratulations to 11th-grader Gabriel Dubiel for earning the Scholastic National Gold Medal with his piece Cosmic Rapture! 🏅 Crafted from copper and chemical patina, his artwork merges science and creativity by exploring oxidation patterns. Gabriel’s inspiration for this piece came from his fascination with the intersection of nature and art, which led him to experiment with the unique chemical process. Before earning this prestigious achievement, Gabriel received two Gold Keys and two Silver Keys in the Bay Area region, which advanced him to the national level.

At the same time, his art was featured for the first time at an exhibition in Guatemala, organized by the non-profit organization The Roots Collective. Along with this opportunity for his work to be showcased, the artwork is currently being sold with all profits going towards The Roots Collective’s mission to build schools in Guatemala.

From showcasing his work at an international art show to receiving these top honors, Gabriel is truly making his mark. We can’t wait to see what’s next! 🌎✨
