Dear Church,

We are looking forward to this upcoming weekend as we get to know Derrick and Kristin Nichols and have them with us "in view of a call" to Derrick to be our next Lead Pastor. Derrick meets our stated Biblical Qualifications for a pastor/elder listed in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.

I want to make sure you all are aware of the schedule on Sunday, March 30.

• 9:30 & 11am: Derrick will preach during both services.
• 4pm: Informal meet and greet time in the Main Lobby.
• 5pm: Question and Answer time in the Worship Center.
• Approx. 6pm: Derrick and Kristin will leave our meeting, and the church will have a time of discussion concerning our candidate.

We will vote on calling Derrick on Sunday, April 6th. Church membership is required to vote. Voting will take place after both services. If you are not able to attend on April 6th, online voting will be available through our church website that morning from 9am to 12:30pm.

I want to clear up an item concerning Derrick's profile that was emailed and is on the church website. As you can see there are seven members of the Pastors Search committee, but there are only five written recommendations. I want to assure you that all members of the Search Committee were invited to submit a written recommendation. All recommendations that were received were printed.

Calling our Lead Pastor is not the responsibility of the Search Committee or the Board, it is God leading the church to decide as He leads us.

This is an exciting time in our church, and I look forward to seeing how God leads.

Eagle Lake Camp Volunteers Needed
