Director of Missions - Rev Richard Ray

"Oh come, let us sing to the Lord!

Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.” – Psalm 95:1

Our churches love to sing unto the Lord. It is always a joy to attend church gospel singing and concerts. This past couple of weeks, I have had the privilege to attend several gospel concerts to include a high school choir, a Saturday Gospel Jam, while Talon led a youth concert and this coming

Saturday, I will again be attending and singing at another Gospel Jam.

Sunday, I was honored to worship and preach at Spicewood Baptist Church where we all sang unto the Lord beautifully and Sunday Evening, I am leading the Choir at Fairy Baptist Church as they prepare for Easter. Coryell and

Lampasas Baptist Association both have Associational Gospel Singings coming up in April hosted by Mountain Baptist Church (Coryell) and School Creek Baptist Church (Lampasas). Please share with us when your church has a Gospel Singing so we all can keep Singing and Rejoicing to the Rock of our Salvation.

Last week, I was blessed to assist and provide certificates to the children and youth Bible Drillers who competed at the Associational Bible Drills. Congratulations to those students who advanced to the regional and state competitions as they represent Trinity Baptist Church and Tri-Rivers Baptist Area. God's Word still moves in the lives of our children.

This week, we will be finalizing the Dignity Revolution School Assemblies and Outreach Events, I will be meeting with local ministers to discuss the needs of their church, serving another church in evangelism, attending a Gospel Jam, working with Bivocational Ministry Leadership along with preparing to host Accelerate Texas at the Tri-Rivers Retreat Center.

The Tri-Rivers Church Recovery Fund continues to grow as we assist area churches who are struggling with their property insurance needs. In this

newsletter, we have shared the details on how the Church Recovery Fund will operate. Please view the Newsletter or website for more information and please complete the Church Property Insurance Survey in this newsletter if your church hasn’t already.

Please continue to view this Newsletter for Ministry Opportunities within the Tri-Rivers Baptist Area.  It is our joy to serve all our area churches in meeting the various needs of the church and its leadership. We are honored to be serving each church as we together serve our Lord in sharing the message of Salvation to each community. Your faithful financial support allows every church to have their ministry needs met so they can be more effective in reaching their community for the Lord. We are all One Church located in over 118 Locations serving and working Together in Ministry and in our Calling to deliver the Message of Christ Love to all.

Please reach out to us with your ministry needs as we are available to serve you 24/7. We are a “Brotherhood of Churches”.

Ideas to pray for missionaries:

1. Pray for their own personal relationship with God.

2. Pray for the missionary’s health.

3. Pray for God’s provision for the missionaries personal needs, the church/ministry and for

the people they serve.

4. Pray for the unsaved to have understanding of the gospel and courage to accept the

Lords’ salvation.

5. Pray for the Lord to help the missionaries disciple new converts.

6. Pray for the single missionaries that God will bring people into their lives and be support

for them when they need it.

7. Pray for healthy marriages and they are a reflection of God and be an example to those

they serve.

Additional prayers for international missionaries:

1. Pray for language learning.

2. Pray as they come to understand the counties culture, religion(s), customs and food.

3. Pray for them as they experience loneliness and long for the family members they left

behind.

These are some ideas to pray for the missionaries as they serve. Also remember to pray for

things as God lays them on your heart.
