Did you miss yesterday's State of Civic Education in Pennsylvania? Watch it online.

Thank you to the many Pennsylvanians who attended the State of Civic Education in Pennsylvania yesterday, sponsored by PA Civics and the Committee of Seventy.

If you missed the hour-long conversation that featured Governor Shapiro, Sen. Dave Argall, Rep. Tim Brennan, and four truly fantastic teachers from across the Commonwealth, you can watch it here.

This event kicked off an entire week of programming from PA Civics partners. See our event calendar as we celebrate Civic Learning Week, the national effort to prioritize civic education in order to sustain and strengthen our constitutional democracy.

Teachers: Tells us about civics in your school

At the end of the event yesterday, we shared the link to a survey for educators to tell us about the state of civic education in your home district. It also gives you the opportunity to sign up for a professional learning community, where teachers can collaborate to share teaching resources and suggest ideas that would improve the civic education climate in Pennsylvania. Teachers: share your thoughts!
