Day/Time: Thursdays 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Dates: April 10th - May 22nd, 2025 (6 Weeks*)

Price: $120.00 + GST


*Please Note: There will be no class on May 8th


This six-week course is designed to introduce you to the principles and practice of mindfulness. Living mindfully in the present moment allows us to live with greater peace, with greater ease, and with greater connection to others and to ourselves.


This course is appropriate for those who are new to mindfulness or for those who are familiar with mindfulness and are seeking to deepen their practice.

Spring Adult Arts Programming

Spring Dates: May 7th - June 18th (7 weeks)

Day/Time: Wednesdays, 10:00am to 1:00pm

Location: Brantwood Park Fieldhouse

Pricing: $77.00/session


Beginners, as well as experienced artists, are most welcome! A model is organized each week and poses in the natural form, without clothing.


Participants work in the medium of their own choice and provide their own materials. Easels are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no instructor, learning is in the doing and the sharing among participants.

Stitch, Hook & Knit Social

Spring Dates: Every other Tuesday, beginning April 1st

Time: 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Location: Old Town Hall

Pricing: FREE (suggested donation of $5.00)


Bring your tools and projects and join us twice a month for an evening where adult sewists, crocheters, knitters, and other textile hobbyists are welcome to work among friends and neighbours.


This no-cost social event is funded by donations. If you can, there is a suggested $5.00 entry fee.

PA Day Camp: March 28th, 2025 (OCDSB)


Get ready to have a blast at Brantwood Park Fieldhouse with CAG's PA Day Camp on March 28th!


This PA Day's theme is: Spring Forward and Chill


Time: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (Extended Care available until 5:30pm)

Location: Brantwood Park Fieldhouse (39 Onslow Crescent)

Pricing: $55.00/day/child

Extended Care: $12.50/child

A limited number of Extended-Care spots will be available depending on the date of the PA Day Camp. Extended Care will be offered from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm and children may be with our regular After-School program where required.

Riverdale Avenue Integrated Renewal Functional Design: Survey

The City of Ottawa has initiated a functional design study for transportation improvements to Riverdale Avenue, planned as part of an upcoming integrated road, sewer and water rehabilitation.


An online survey will be open until March 24, 2025 for the Riverdale Avenue Functional Design study, available here. This survey seeks to gather input from the community on the proposed design alternatives and key transportation barriers, concerns and priorities along the corridor.
