2025 | February

MAKING THE DREAM WORK

Dear John,

As always, we like to take the opportunity in our February e-news to share what you, as a Bridges To Life supporter, helped us accomplish in the previous year! Here are those achievements for 2024:

  • 7,346 participants graduated from the BTL program
  • 279 BTL projects were conducted in 126 facilities
  • 751 volunteers contributed 66,050 hours of service valued at $2,109,637!
  • Our program cost remained low at $226 per graduate
  • The recidivism rate of BTL graduates was only 13.7%

We are especially thrilled with the increase in our volunteer base, both those newly joining us and previous volunteers who've come back. Whether you support us with your time, talent, treasure, or prayers, THANK YOU for a successful 2024!

Gratefully,

John Sage, Founder & CEO

Jim Buffington, COO

TEAM WORKS!

As you can tell by this photo from a BTL project graduation,

our program is a human-to-human process that would not be possible

without the dedicated participation of our volunteers!

Without the volunteers, we cease to be Restorative Justice.

Without the volunteers, recidivism increases.

Without the volunteers, empathy evaporates.

Without the volunteers, the curriculum is less impactful.

Without the volunteers, the community is trapped in ignorance.

Without the volunteers, victim healing ceases.

Without the volunteers, inmates remain unaware of God's love.
