How do you have hard, courageous, and faithful conversations with friends and strangers? Join Communication Professors, Kristy Callahan (PPSC) & Janice Thorpe (UCCS) for insights and tips to have better conversations and learn how to respond like Jesus!

Children & Youth Sunday

This Sunday, 8:00 & 10:30 AM


This Sunday our Children & Youth will be helping to lead our worship services. Aviana, our Youth Vestry Representative and an active member of our youth ministries, will be preaching. Join us as we give thanks to God for the presence of children and youth in our community.

Prayers & Blessings

After Communion in Lent


The clergy will offer healing prayers and blessings immediately following Communion during each service. If you desire prayer for healing, birthdays, surgeries, etc., (after you receive Communion) come downstairs to the Prayer Room, where a member of the Clergy will offer a short prayer. 

Lenten Soup Suppers

This Wednesdays

March 12, 5:30 - 7:00 PM


Join us for food, fellowship, and formation on Wednesday evenings during Lent. Enjoy dinner and fellowship from 5:30 - 6:00 PM and then formation from 6:00 - 7:00 focused on, "To Gather Together; Living into our Baptismal Covenant." Bring soup or just your appetite. The Saint John’s Bible docents will be on hand after each supper to answer questions or assist with viewing an illumination.

Join The Well next Saturday to explore Christ’s invitation to share his cup at the Lenten Retreat. Lean into contemplative practices, reflection, and new insights to help you grow spiritually this Lent. Suggested $10 donation covers lunch and materials.

Join Seraphim Choir for Lent

Wednesdays, 7:00 - 8:00 PM

St. Michael's adult choir will rehearse on Lent Wednesdays from 7:00 - 8:00 PM after the Soup Suppers. If you've considered joining the choir, but you can't make a long-term commitment, this opportunity might be for you! This six-week season will culminate in a choral Tenebrae service on April 16 (Holy Wednesday). Please contact Amalia for more information! 


Lent Rite of Reconciliation

This Lent, have you considered making the sacramental Rite of Reconciliation? This rite is for those who wish to repent or confess their sins to God in the presence of a priest and receive the assurance of pardon and the grace of absolution (BCP, p. 861). The Exploring Your Vocation event for The Episcopal Church in Colorado

Discernment is at the heart of our baptismal call. Every baptized person is called to be a minister of the Body of Christ. For some, that call is manifested in pursuing ordained ministry or a call to religious life. This event takes place on Saturday, March 15 at Christ’s Episcopal Church in Castle Rock from 10:30 AM - 3 PM. Sandwich Sunday

March 16 After 10:30 Service


At the first Sandwich Sunday last December, over 40 enthusiastic parishioners of all generations made sandwich lunches for the grateful recipients at the Salvation Army Family Hope Center. Join us on Sunday, March 16 to make even more sandwiches at our second Sandwich Sunday following the 10:30 service. No RSVP required.

Join Together Colorado for the Southern Region Community Organizing Training on Saturday, March 22 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM at St. Michael’s. This FREE, full-day training is part of a statewide effort to strengthen grassroots bases and belonging across our communities, especially for those most vulnerable. Lunch is included. IHN Dinners

Volunteers Needed


IHN (Interfaith Hospitality Network) is requesting dinners to support families who are beta-testing a new "static housing" solution. Families will reside for several months in one location with support from partners. To sign up to make a meal and drop off, click on the link below, and then please email Kelly Belvis. A week before you serve, dietary restrictions and size/portions of meals will be emailed by Family Promise (IHN).
