Some responses to increase in recruiting:
CSAF Gen. David Allvin posted on X: "BREAKING NEWS! Our recruiting numbers in Dec, Jan, & Feb were the best in 15 years! As @secdef said Americans are excited to join, which is why we have 13K recruits in our Delayed Entry Program--most in nearly 10 years! All recruiting stats look GREAT even w/ 20% goal hike in '25."
Comments:
"I wonder what the leadership lesson is here? Did we spend more money? I don't think so. Did we increase thousands of recruiters? Perhaps. Or did we just appeal to badass people who want to serve their country? Did we just make it ok for people be proud to be American? Interesting."
"It’s no coincidence that numbers started to improve the moment Trump was elected! As an AF retiree I was discouraging my boys from joining under the Biden Administration. Things are different now."
"I have a nephew who joined the Air Force after President Trump won the election."
"My 21 year old grandson is considering joining the US Army because of President Trump and Secretary Hegseth. He'll make a great soldier. Thank you from Oregon!"
"Amazing what happens when you treat the military like they should instead of being a woke social experiment."
"Gee. It's almost like people want to be part of a WARRIOR ethos and not a Marxist LGBTQ DEI experiment."
