HOLY SMOKES BREAK

We will have the blessing of new playgrounds in the courtyard sometime at the end of April or early May, and since we are planning a big celebration, we believe this is a good year to skip Holy Smokes, which will return in full glory in April of 2026. Whenever the celebration of new playgrounds happens, we will merge the 9:00 and both 11:15 services into one large bilingual service at 9:00am, which will be followed by the dedication of the playgrounds and a large potluck supper with great international food, music, and fun. We will announce this great event closer to the date just in case we experience any delays. As for now, please note that Holy Smokes has been postponed to 2026. If you have any questions, please call Fr. Roldan directly.

OUTREACH

Kids Hope Coins Collection

Tired of loose coins weighing you down? St. D’s Kids Hope can put them to great use at Eiland’s book fair! Many eager students walk up to the register, only to be told they don’t have enough money for their books. While mentors often help their students, many others leave empty-handed.

Let’s change that with CHANGE! Our goal is to fill two water jugs—one in the church and one by the coffee machine—with coins (or dollars!) to help cover book costs. Instead of hearing, “You’re short 40 cents,” kids will get to count from the jar and take their books home.

Your spare change can spark a love for reading and put a smile on a child’s face. Drop your coins in the jug and help make a difference!
