Pastels, Weaving, Colored Pencils:

Youth Art Classes!


Our art classes are posted through the end of the school year, offering options for kids ages 5-12! Whether they’re exploring the vibrant world of pastels, discovering the textures of weaving, or learning drawing techniques with colored pencils, there’s a class for every young artist. Check out the class themes and details on our website.

Spring Break Camp Registration

 

Spring Break Camp is around the corner! NECC hosts day camp for youth grades K-5th during Portland Public School's Spring Break March 24-28. Camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm.


Campers play games in the gym, visit Grant Park, do art activities, have free time in Child Watch, and end each day swimming in our warm water pool. Sign up for one day or all of them! Registration opens at 12pm – February 25 for members and February 27 for everyone. 🌸

Get Ready for STEM Fun:

LEGO Learning Starts Here!


NECC is partnering with Rose City STEM to bring interactive youth STEM classes to the center! Students can work on LEGO engineering projects to learn about physics and architecture. All materials will be provided by the instructor, Haziel. Classes are for ages 6-9 on Thursdays starting April 3 from 4:00-5:30 PM.

Homeschool Gym Class at NECC!


Kidokinetics of NW Portland is excited to bring its dynamic homeschool P.E. program to NECC's gym! Designed to promote fitness, teamwork, and confidence, this engaging program offers homeschool families a fun and inclusive way to keep kids active while learning new skills.


These classes teach FUNdamental sports skills in a Fun, Understandable and Non-competitive way! Classes start March 3rd, weekly on Mondays from 9-10 am. Ages 7-11. Sign up today to get your spot!

Start your Week with Mindful Mondays


Need a fun way to start your week? Join our Monday evening Yoga Flow class! This class is the perfect after-work workout. This energizing vinyasa class will help you build strength, increase flexibility, and find peace of mind.


Join Lisa on Mondays at 7 pm. All skill levels welcome!

Strength Training Meets Cardio


Join Alissa for Cardio ABC Tuesdays at 9am! In this fun, fast-paced, and beat-driven class, we post a new phrase each week where each letter of the phrase represents a cardio, strength, or balance movement. We run through each movement for 30, 60, or 90 seconds. Warm-up and cool-down are infused into the week’s phrase. Modifications provided.
