Soon, newcomers to Milford will receive a greeting letter from Mayor Tony Giannattasio and City Hall, along with an invitation to request a personalized Welcome Packet. Each packet will include a directory of local businesses, community information, upcoming event details, and special offers from participating companies.

Zillow names the most popular coastal cities
The town of Milford, Connecticut earned Zillow’s accolade of “most popular coastal city” across the entire United States, with its neighbor West Haven following closely behind in second place.
“Milford emerged as the most popular coastal city among Zillow home shoppers this year,” Zillow stated. “With 17 miles of coastline along Long Island Sound, the area has plenty of seaside attractions, including beaches, parks, boating, and more.”
