Great news—the installation of our new Sanctuary HVAC system has begun!
Even better, we get to enjoy an extra Sunday in the Sanctuary before we temporarily move worship to the John and Polly Collier High Court. The transition has been rescheduled to Sunday, April 6th, giving us an extra opportunity to worship in our beloved Sanctuary.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this process. We can’t wait to return to a refreshed Sanctuary with you once construction is complete!

Holy Week is just a few weeks away! It's a week of reflection, remembrance, and rejoicing in the hope of Easter! We have a special week planned, and we’d love for you to be a part of it.
Here’s a glimpse of the powerful services and events we have planned:
🌿 Palm Sunday – April 13th at 11:00 am: We’ll begin the week with a joyous celebration as we wave our palms and remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. This Sunday is also when we will host Eggstravaganza—a fun and family-friendly event with an Easter egg hunt, games, and more for children and families to enjoy! More details about Eggstravaganza can be found below.
🍞 Maundy Thursday – April 17th at 7:00 pm: Join us for a reflective worship service as we prepare our hearts for Good Friday. We’ll reflect on the Last Supper and Jesus’ love and sacrifice for us.
✝️ Good Friday – April 18th: The Chapel will be open throughout the day for anyone who would like to come for a time of prayer and reflection. Prayer guides will be available for those who would like them, providing a peaceful space to contemplate the significance of Jesus' sacrifice.
🌅 Easter Sunday – April 20th at 11:00 am: The pinnacle of Holy Week—Easter Sunday is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus! Join us for a joyful and uplifting service as we celebrate the hope and new life that Jesus’ resurrection brings. It’s a time to rejoice and invite others to experience the transformative power of Easter!
We encourage you to invite your friends, family, and neighbors to celebrate this holy season with us. It’s a time to draw closer to God, share in fellowship, and reflect on the incredible love of Jesus. We can't wait!

We’re excited to partner with our School of Fine Arts to host "Painted Prayer: A Lenten Art Workshop"!
Join us TOMORROW, March 22nd, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Drummet. This workshop is open to adults and high school students. Childcare is available, so bring your little ones!
Led by artist and spiritual director Mary Ann Matthys, experience a transformative time of prayer and painting—a unique opportunity to connect with God through creativity!️

Our next Wednesday Night Fellowship Dinner is this coming week!
We hope you will join us in the Drummet building anytime between 5:00-7:30 pm, THIS WEDNESAY, March 26th. You can stop by and grab dinner to-go, or stay to eat and enjoy fellowship with old and new friends.
The theme for the night will be "Indoor Picnic". We will have gluten-free, vegetarian, and kid-friendly options provided by Crispea Catering.

5th Sunday Mission Project

Our first 5th Sunday Mission Project of the year is coming up soon! Next Sunday, March 30th, at 9:00 AM, we will gather in the High Court to pack beans for the Christian Community Service Center (CCSC). We encourage you to invite you Sunday School classes and bring your family to help us fight hunger in Houston!

Elementary Summer Camp Registration is Now Open
Summer is just around the corner, and that means it’s almost time for the best 6 weeks of the year—SUMMER CAMP!
Kids will have an absolute blast going on exciting field trips, playing crazy games, splashing around on pool days and splash days, and so much more! Each week is packed with adventure, fun, and memories waiting to be made.

The Bridge: An Adult Small Group
Join us for dinner, discussion, and discipleship!
You're invited! The bridge is an adult small group that meets periodically on Sundays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm in the Drummet Building for dinner, fellowship, and theological conversations.
Current Conversation Series: "What Does the Bible Say About...?" In this series, we’re diving into topics that interest us and exploring what the Bible has to say about them. Our group offers a welcoming space to ask questions, share insights, and study scripture together.

March 30th: What does the Bible say about anxiety and other mental health conditions?

Come Sing With the Chancel Choir This Spring!
The Chancel Choir is looking for seasonal singers to join them for Holy Week and their spring major work!
Are you interested in singing with the Chancel Choir for a short period? Maybe you want to try out choir? This is the perfect time!
The choir has begun rehearsing music for Holy Week and Major Work Sunday. Our major work this spring is “Come Away to the Skies: A High Lonesome Bluegrass Mass,” a work that mixes traditional Latin Mass texts with tunes from the American Sacred Harp and bluegrass traditions. The choir will be performing the Mass during the Sunday Service on May 4th.
The choir rehearses in the Sanctuary every Wednesday from 7:00-8:30pm.

Children's Music Programs
Children's Choir and music lessons
Children's Choir practice is from 10:10-10:30 am on Sunday mornings in the Elementary Sunday School room. In practice, they will learn the basics of music theory and rehearse music to sing in Worship on special Sundays!
In addition Children's Choir, there will be a music portion added to Children's Sunday School time. We'll learn things like the Doxology, the Gloria Patri, and various hymns. The goal is to encourage the children to become active participants in Worship as young members of our congregation.

Did you know our Recreation Ministry isn’t jut for kids?! Whether you’re looking for friendly competition or just some fun exercise, we’ve got something for you!
Pickleball – Held in the High Court almost every week!
Tuesdays: 6:00–9:00 pm
Thursdays: 9:00 AM–12:00 pm
No team or partner is required! Cost: $5
*There is no pickleball on the 3rd Tuesday of the month*
Adult Basketball- Also in the High Court
Mondays from 6:00–9:00 PM.

Calling All High School Seniors: Senior Sunday is coming up!
This May (official date TBA), we will be recognizing our graduating high school seniors during Worship! If you have a graduating senior in your family who would like to participate, please reach out to Hanna and let her know.
Additionally, we will be putting together a slideshow of photos of our seniors. Parents: please help us out by sending us 4-6 photos of your senior throughout the years.
