In trying times, when challenges seem overwhelming and uncertainty looms large, the pursuit of peace becomes more crucial than ever. As we go through our days and navigate our struggles, keep in mind Philippians 4:7, which promises that the peace of God will guard our hearts and minds.

Peace isn’t the absence of problems, it’s knowing that, in the midst of it all, you’re held by a love greater than anything in this world. Jesus walked through storms, yet He was calm. He faced darkness, yet His heart was light. That’s the peace He offers—a peace that lives within, no matter what’s outside.

Maybe Peace isn’t something you have to find but rather Someone you could trust?

Busy season here at My Joyful Heart! We will continue to share the Fruit of the Spirit with the children this year and are grateful your donations which help tell them about these attributes in fun ways.

WINTER BAG EVENT

What a fabulous blessing to be one of the beneficiaries of Parkview Homer Glen's Winter Bag Event. A fabulous couple started this ministry many years ago and we are grateful for the help and donations that we received. We were able to purchase over 1,000 Bibles & Devotionals for the children from this collection!

COATS, HATS, SCARVES, GLOVES!

We are so grateful to the Fr. Boyle Knights of Columbus, St. Mary of Mokena parish and Religious Education program, the Chicago-O'Hare Rotary Club & Warm Coats, Cool Kids and Faith United Methodist Church for helping us with winter accessory and coat drives to get warm coats for the children. A huge thank you to our donors, many anonymous, who purchased the remaining items off of our Amazon wish list!

100+ WOMEN WHO CARE WILL COUNTY

We are so blessed to have benefited from the caring women of this impressive organization. They meet four times a years, choose a non-profit to donate to and each member writes a $100 check. Two fabulous women shared our mission with the group and we couldn't be more excited!
