FREEDOM

Once you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are forgiven of your sin. When you repented of your sin they were thrown into the sea of forgetfulness and God does not remember them anymore. They are wiped out. It is as if they never existed!

Don’t let the devil steal your joy! Many are bound up in the memories of their past mistakes [sin] and never get the victory. When Jesus shed his blood for you it was for eternity. He does not play games! You are forgiven!  

Enjoy the freedom of knowing that the enemy doesn’t have any strongholds on you that you don’t give him. Don’t listen to his lies! You have been bought with a price, and you are redeemed from sin by the precious blood of Jesus.  

Now, don’t look back at your past sin, because it isn’t there anymore. It is washed away with the blood of Jesus never to be remembered by God. You have a clean slate.

If you do fail and sin, repent quickly and it will be done away with too. Don’t fall into Satan’s trap my friend. He wants to keep you bound, but John 8:36 is your sword to defeat that lie. It says, “If the Son therefore shall make you free [from your sin], ye shall be free indeed.” When the devil tries to intimidate you with your past, speak this verse to him and use it to cut off his lies and intimidation!

Then, Galatians 5:1 shows us the way to continue in our walk of freedom. It says, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”  

When we are led by the Spirit of God and not by our flesh, we can walk in a life of freedom.
